Regarding Reupload

Hello everyone. I've been lazy lately, so there hasn't been any updates. I'll be posting some M3-37 news soon.

Regarding reupload, I am aware that all the DL links on this blog are broken. It's been several years since Nakidori started out, and since then several great English-language websites and forums devoted to doujin music have popped up. It's also becoming easier to purchase doujin music online. As a blog for introducing doujin music to music fans, Nakidori has run its course, and it is time to turn a new leaf. All DL posts have been taken down, and from now on Nakidori will become a news and information-only blog.

If you are looking for doujin music, you can go to dojin.co. They have an extensive amount of doujin music there, and they have multiple members uploading and reuploading stuff. You can also try the DoujinStyle.com forum for new releases or request for older releases.

I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. Thank you very much for your support after all this time.

It's unusual that Asriel is participating in Comiket instead of M3, but since they didn't show up at M3-32... Abyss will be their 16th indie album.

In unrelated news, I've mentioned in the past the Kaitou Shuudan Jupiter Project, a M3-28 collaboration between four female vocalists: Yuna, Hayama Riku, aya*k and Yuizuki Sora. They released an album at M3-28, though they haven't released anything together since. Recently they made PVs for all the tracks (minus the bonus track) in the album and posted them on Youtube. In other news, Nakae Mitsuki has announced that Re:sonare will officially disband on Dec 31, 2013. Mitsuki mentioned that one of the main reasons for the disbandment is that she, as the band leader, was unable to allocate time to participate in the group. They will be holding a final live event at Akihabara's Eggman tokyo east on Jan 11, 2014.

Sorry about the lack of updates recently. At the moment, I'm not planning on posting any M3-31 releases here. There are two great music sites that host many M3-31 releases, so I recommend you go there. M3-30 News Part 1 + Ayutrica Disbanded

Mamyukka - King Piglog
After a pretty long delay, Mamyukka will finally be releasing their much anticipated new album, King Piglot. The pilot CD "Invitation" was released back in M3-28 (that would be last fall). Like their previous albums, they are bringing in many guest vocalists, including Fukami Chie, Nakae Mitsuki, Ikeda Show, Cherose, Gotou Haruki, Aihara Kaori, Chikamori Kayako and others.

iyuna and Chata have often collaborated in their group, my sound life, and this year they'll also be hosting their first live on Nov 23. Alice Eden consists of vocalist Hiiragi Tsuyuri and composer Hikarinosu (he also belongs to two other circles, ArsMagnA and Seraph). Awhile back, Alice Eden has revamped their website completely. It also appears to be a fresh start from the old. They've released their 3rd single at M3-29, which fell under the radar. This time, they returned with their 2nd album.

In other news, Ayutrica has officially disbanded on Sep 17, citing that its members are busy with their individual projects. However, they do not rule out the possibility that the members will reunite again in the future. On the other hand, [S] and Hoshio Yuka have found the new circle Eclipseed, which has the same concept as Ayutrica. Eclipseed has already released a single to mark its debut back in C82. In addition, Eclipseed will still perform songs from Ayutrica in live concerts, so that's something to be happy about.

Nakidori's Last fm group.

It has been a while since our forum was created. However it seems it never got very popular and just few people stayed there. So I tough it was way better to just create a little last fm group instead. We can always talk about doujin music there.

The good part is that all Nakidori people can help improving information of Doujin circles on last fm besides getting more people interesed on doujin music.

The bad one is that we can't do the old albums request there and I'm not sure of where we would be able to do it. Any idea?

I hope do you like this new idea. Mostly because our forum will be deleted soon if there is no more activity on it.

M3-27 is originally set to take place on May 1, but it is likely that there'll be changes. The official website for M3 mentions that it will make an announcement later on.

Lotus root Orchestra's Yuka has posted full version tracks of her latest work, Seventh Blood Vampire, on MySpace from Mar 19-21. The CD, along with the accompanying comic, was originally set to be released at Haru Comi on March 20, but the event was cancelled. The CD and the doujinshi would likely be released at M3-27 instead. Yuka asks that you donate to Japan Red Cross after you listen to the songs.

Voltage of Imagination News

As a way of showing support to everyone in Japan, Voltage of Imagination has posted a song called がんばったら (Ganbattara) on its website. The song is composed, written, and sung by Chata, with ESTi responsible for arrangement.

Also a bit of old news. VoI has collaborated with a popular iPhone/iPad APP called 朗読少女 (Rodoku Shoujo), which is basically a visual version of audiobooks of literary works and light novels. VoI has provided two songs for the series. The songs are composed by bermei.inazawa and written by interface. リツカ (Rinka) and spiLa, well known as a part of the Utattemita movement in Nico Nico Douga, perform the songs. The songs are available through the APP and are scheduled to be on sale through iTunes Store later in the month.

M3-25 News Part 1 + Shikata Akiko

M3-25 is a month away, and several circles have announced what their latest projects will be.

Asriel has announced in their blog that they are working on a new album titled 汝を照らす朧のアリア.

Hatsuki Yura will be releasing two new works at M3-25. One will be a collaboration with Tsukiko on a "Respect Album" for the manga series 聖痕のクェイサー (Seikon no Qwaser), which has been adapted into an anime series earlier this year. Yura's second project will be a classical gothic project with vampires as the theme. More details will be available later.

Voltage of Imagination & Fukami Chie

As you know, Fukami Chie of RUN GIRLS RUN has contributed the song Hitohira to Voltage of Imagination's C77 album, Kusoh Katsugeki. The song is based on Japanese novelist Sakaguchi Ango's famous work, Sakura no Mori no Mankai no Shita (桜の森の満開の下).

Now, Voltage of Imagination has announced that they will expand this concept into a mini album, with Fukami Chie responsible for composition, lyrics, arrangement and vocal. The mini album will be called Hana no Hate (花の涯), scheduled to be released on April 15. The mini album will contain seven tracks, including Hitohira.

Additional staff includes Annabel, who will provide vocal for track 4, and bermei.inazawa, who will take on the role of recording engineer. 憂, who was responsible for the artwork associated with Hitohira, will once again provide artwork for the mini album.

M3-25 Preliminary & Other News

M3-25 will take place on May 5. Several circles have already announced they will be participating in this event, including Alieson, Lotus root Orchestra, little white snow, Queen of Wand, Ayutrica, Ether, and Mamyukka.

Mamyukka will be having a Valentine online single release on Valentine's Day. More details to come.

After the release of their first major maxi single, Shoujo Byou will be producing the ending theme for episode 2 of the anime series Katanagatari. The song title will be called Refulgence.

Shoujo Byou is not the only one catching the eyes of the commerical sector. Rokugen Alice will be producing the main theme and ending theme for the upcoming DS RPG game, WiZmansWorld. The game will be released on February 25; preorder bonus will include a special single CD by Rokugen Alice.

Maple Leaf and tieLeaf to cease doujin operation

Maple Leaf, the circle formed by Shimotsuki Haruka, and tieLeaf have announced they will cease doujin operation after C77, which marks the last doujin event they will participate in. From now on, they will focus on commerical activities. Any doujin CDs they have released in the past will not be reissued. Their final doujin project (title to be announced) will be released at C77.

C77 News Part 1 + Katakiri Rekka

The website for Voltage of Imagination's C77 album, Kusoh Katsugeki, has officially opened. They seem to have paired up vocalists with composers they've worked before. Annabel and bermei.inazawa formed anNina; Katakiri Rekka collaborated with Morrigan on Kara no Kyoukai image album; Shimotsuki Haruka worked with Oshima Hiroyuki on one of VoI's Orbital Maneuver album; Clock Music's ぺーじゅん has collaborated with Chata on quite a few projects, and so on. Sample tracks for three of the songs are up on the site.

In other news, Rokugen Alice has announced its latest album will be titled 骨董店 『Mystique』, and it looks like it's another tie-in with their earlier album, Omen of Seven.

Voltage of Imagination Latest Project

Voltage of Imagination has just released news on its upcoming project, titled 空想活劇 (Kusoh Katsugeki). The list of artists involved in the project is enormous: Chata, Katakiri Rekka, Shimotsuki Haruka, Annabel, Yanagi Nagi, MintJam, Sorairo Ehon (空色絵本), Fukami Chie, Mitose Noriko, onoken, Oshima Hiroyuki, bermei.inazawa, Morrigan and more. The album is scheduled to be released this winter, though whether or not it will be released at C77 remains to be seen.

Shoujo Byou's Major Debut Single

Shoujo Byou has announced that it will release its major debut single 蒼白シスフェリア (Souhaku Shisuferia) under Lantis music label. The single will be bundled with a music video DVD to be produced by design studio Alice From Japan. Voice actors to be involved in the project include 花澤香菜 (Hanazawa Kana), 豊崎愛生 (Toyosaki Aki), 柿原徹也 (Kakihara Tetsuya), and 沢城みゆき (Sawashiro Miyuki).

The single will be released on Dec 23.

Voltage of Imagination News

Not exactly doujin music-related, but anyone who likes Voltage of Imagination might be interested.

Voltage of Imagination will be producing an image album for the Dengeki Bunko light novel series 嘘つきみーくんと壊れたまーちゃん (Usotsuki Mi-kun to Kowareta Ma-chan), titled 存在の正しさは不在 (Sonzai no Tadashisa ha Fuzai). The maxi single will contain 6 tracks, scheduled to be released on October 4.

Then later in December, the full album titled 幻想の在処は現実 (Gensou no Arika ha Genjitsu) will be released. It will contain 11 tracks, a blend of music and voice acting based on the first volume of the novel series.
