Hatsuki Yura is collaborating with composer Fujita Mari (藤田真梨) on a new "romantic dark goth" album called 少女の秘密と鍵穴 (Shoujo no Himitsu Kagiana). Fujita Mari is notable for her work with singer Kuraki Mai.

C78 News Part 5

Lots of news now that C78 is nearly upon us.

Primary will be releasing their 5th single, titled 月 (Tsuki).

Shoujo Byou has released info on their second C78 release. It's called 告解エピグラム (Kokkai Epigram), and like Seiren, it is also an original fantasy album. Seiyuu Koyasu Takehito and Tange Sakura will be lending their voices to the album. Mitsuki and Lico will be the vocalists.

love solfege', as a gesture to celebrate its 10th anniversary, looks back on the first half of the circle's life and produces a new album to reflect its old style. The album is called 墟律のサンプル (Kyorichi no Sample). Vocalists include ayu and Ayano Eiri (who joined the group as lead vocalist last year), as well as marie, Jenya, Kusunoki Suzune, and Sakuraba Wakana.

Pixelbee, a circle that has worked with Shoujo Byou on many occasions, is producing an album based on mangaka Yoshizuki Kumichi's (whose best known work is probably as the artist behind the manga series Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto) artwork. The album will be called Panoram a Note. Participating artists include Chata, Clock Music, Funczion Sounds, Yuzuki, Luca, Hana, HIR, Sentimental Vector and more.

The first of two Shoujo Byou releases at C78 will be called Seiren　-彼方に謡う哀憐の姫- (Seiren -Kanata ni Utau Airen no Hime), an original fantasy album with Mitsuki as the lead vocalist.

Roundbooster Architexture has announced the official name of their new single, titled Re:Hymn. The single will include three songs, sung by Kino Nei, IZNA (who has performed the ending theme for the DS game Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kizuna vol. 3), and Motoki Zakuro respectively.

C78 is less than a month away, and some of the circles finally release details about their upcoming work.

Closed/Underground is working on an interesting project to help raise fund for Miyazaki Prefecture, which has recently been plagued by foot-and-mouth disease. The album will be called ぼくらにできることの、ひとつ。 (Bokura ni Dekiru Koto no, Hitotsu.) Aside from Katakiri Rekka herself, other vocalists include Kaori Michiru, Chata, nayuta, Marie, Mitose Noriko, and yuiko. Composers will consist of HIR, dai, Dani, Hashimoto Kyouya, 羽鳥風画, ぺーじゅん (Clock Music), bermei.inazawa, Hosoi Soshi, Meis Clauson, Morrigan, and Luck Ganriki.

C78 News Part 1 + VoI

Hi, it's around that time of year again. The summer Comiket, i.e. C78, will take place from August 13 to 15. Not many circles have put up info concerning their C78 releases so far, though several Umineko-related groups have posted info about their upcoming releases.

dai and Luck Ganriki will be collaborating on Umineko no Naku Koro ni musicbox -霧のピトス- (Kiri no Pithos). Incidentally, Kiri no Pithos is the name of the new opening theme for Umineko episode 7: Requiem of the Golden Witch, composed by dai and Luck Ganriki. The song is sung by 木野寧 (Kino Nei), who also sang "Happy Maria" and "Usan no Kaori". Presumably the new OP song will be included in the album.

猫招き歌劇団 (Neko Maneki Kagekidan), the circle that provided several Umineko ending themes in the past, will release a new single, temporarily titled 惨美歌. 本木咲黒 (Motoki Zakuro) will return once again as the lead vocalist.

Voltage of Imagination has announced recently that its latest project will be an image album based on Nakamura Erika's light novel series, Double Brid. The project, titled Depth Break, is headed by vocalist Mitose Noriko, who will also write the lyrics for the song. Oshima Hiroyuki, Luca, and Dani will be responsible for the composition. The album will be released early at C78, but its official release date is Sep 8. The album will be bundled with a short story written by Nakamura Erika herself.
