M3-25 News Part 8 (really final)

Some very last minute news.

binaria has mentioned on their blog that they are planning to release a best album, but only now do they make it official on their website. binaria's best album, titled sonido, will be released at M3-25. There are 15 tracks in total, most of them come from their previously released CDs, alhaja, rueda, forma, and epoca. M3-25 News Part 8

I apologize for bombarding you with more M3-25 news again. It serves as a record to myself as well lest I forget.

Enfance fini's Noe, under her solo circle name ソラユラ (Sorayura) is releasing an a cappella album named エルダ (Erda). She's responsible for composition, lyrics and vocal. Although it's under her solo circle name, both Sugi and Nyol of Enfance fini are helping out with illustration and mixing respectively. Noe has provided the vocal for Bernkastel's image song in the Umineko image album "Rokkenjima in Love".

Aside from さかしま月の歌 (Sakashima Tsuki no Uta), Romaria Crusade will also be releasing their 10th album, titled ぼくのはるやすみ (Boku no Haruyasumi) at M3-25.

After releasing a whole collection of Tohou arranged albums, 君の美術館 (Kimi no Museum) will at last release a new original album as a part of their monologue collection. The album is called monologue ~交差する彼方の旋律~ (Kousasuru Achira no Senritsu). Characters from their C75 album monologue ~今宵、盗みます~ (Koyoi, Nusumimasu) will appear in the new album, along with two new characters.

浮森かや子 (Chikamori Kayako) of 幼蚕文庫 (Osanako Bunko) released her first solo mini album at M3-23. And this year she will be releasing a new mini album named 御好きなやうに (Osukinayauni), with Mameko as guest vocalist.

M3-25 News Part 7 (final, probably)

Unless I've forgotten about something (again), this should be the final M3-25 news before the big day. (Seriously, what's happening this year? There are so many interesting things to look forward to.) A listing of every participating circle can be found here. It might take awhile for new releases to pop up, so please bear with me.

As mentioned before, Hatsuki Yura will be releasing two new CDs at M3-25. One is her collaboration with Stretta di Mano's Tsukiko called Iconostasis (イコノスタシス), a "respect" album for the manga and anime series Seikon no Qwaser. The first half of the album will contain vocal tracks and the second half instrumental tracks.

mimei's latest addition to their toki-jiku series will be a single called 幻戯世界 (Genki Sekai). There will be three tracks in total; preview, as well as a trailer, is available on their website.

Good things come to those who wait, it seems. Yanagi Nagi, under her solo circle name CorLeonis, will be releasing her second original album, オールトの夢 (Oort no Yume). Preview is available on her website.

Mamyukka's upcoming album will be called Nightmare Opera. Participating vocalists include KAZUMA, ゆきね (Yukine), 南条あきら (Nanjo Akira), and Mamyukka's very own Mameko.

Krik/Krak will be releasing their third album, titled Nursery Rhymes2 たそがれ道化師 (Tasogare Doukeshi). The album will include songs they have released for their web project, also titled Tasogare Doukeshi. (It's a shame that their first mini album, Nursery Rhymes, is nearly impossible to find.)

M3-25 News Part 6

Some of the major circles have finally put up details about their upcoming releases.

Vampires appear to be a very popular theme this year. Aside from Hatsuki Yura, Queen of Wand will also be releasing a vampire-themed album, titled Midians Anthology. Preview of the tracks is available.

MiddleIsland will be releasing a new vocal album called 返し刃の獅子 (Kaeshiha no Shishi), with Murasaki on vocal. Preview of the tracks is available.

Finally, ヒメゴト。 (Himegoto.), a circle formed by composer Kei+m and vocalist/lyricist uco, will be releasing a new album called Sweets Garden. Unlike the unassuming album title, however, their music is of the heavy symphonic rock variety.

M3-25 News Part 5

I'm going out of control with all these M3-25 news, I realize.

Rokugen Alice has finally put up a page dedicated to their upcoming album, Madam Violet. Sample track is available on the site. The story will centre on the aforementioned Madam Violet, and each of the seven songs will depict a turning point in her life. This setting for this album will apparently have some relation to that of their C75 album, Guren no Shoujo ~Sono Na wo Yobu wa, Shinigami Nari~.

Yuka of Lotus root Orchestra will be teaming up with Kanazuki of Armonia and Hirosawa Kendi of Team.▼ on a new single titled ノートの余白 (Note no Yohaku) under the circle name Cafe;Chiffon.

NAKI of ないしょの音楽館 (Naisho no Ongakukan) will be releasing her third album called SUNNY DAYS, the style of which is tilted towards soft ballad and pop. She has previously participated in Barbarian On The Groove's compilation album, op.Comrade.

うたたねりんご (Utatane Ringo), a circle formed in 2009 which includes as its members 朱色 (Syuiro) on vocal and 飛鳥硝子 (Askagarasu) as composer, will be releasing their first album インソムニア (Insomnia). Their music leans towards the rockish flair. Incidentally, Askagarasu has collaborated with Starry Garden's Konno Sei on several of her albums, including her upcoming album, Zwei Sterne.

And last but not least, AP Sounds will be releasing a compilation album featuring songs they have composed for various web voice drama. The album will be called ~廻響ファンタジア・ロマン~ The world in somewhere 2. Vocalists include the aforementioned Syuiro and Suzuha Yumi, as well as Takanashi Mako, 雹雅雪 (Hyouga Yuki), 零 (Zero, a duet vocal group) and others.

M3-25 News Part 4

So many new releases... Some of the circles, such as Ether, MiddleIsland, and Queen of Wand, have announced they are working on their M3-25 projects, but haven't posted any details yet. I will post them here as soon as more info is available.

Now onto the news.

Ataiwa Dareka's circle 流浪の民 (Rurou no Tami) will be releasing a single called 戦乙女と呼ばれた少女 (Ikusa Otome to Yobareta Shoujo). Ikusa Otome refers to Valkyrie in Norse mythology, hence this should give you an idea of what the theme of this single will be.

Utanoha's 小鳥遊まこ (Takanashi Mako) will be very busy this year. She has announced not one, but two new albums to be released at M3-25. One of them is called Half-Realism, which will be leaning towards pop. The other is called 箱庭レーゾンデートル (Hakoniwa Raison d'etre), a "dark fantasy" as Mako describes it. Additionally, RomariaCrusade's (a circle to which Mako is a member of) 9th album さかしま月の歌 (Sakashima Tsuki no Uta) will also be on sale at M3-25.

And speaking of solo projects, 星名優子 (Hoshina Yuko) will be releasing her 4th solo album, titled Symphony Love. Zai-Dang will be the guest vocalist.

後藤ハルキ (Gotoh Haruki), under the circle name A Little Bit, will be releasing a new single called Midnight Lover. The concept behind this single will be the "romance of a grown-up girl". In case you aren't familiar with her work, she has participated in Mamyukka's M3-24 album, Evilz, in addition to various doujin voice drama.

remof, a circle that dabbles in both music CD and voice drama, will be releasing their 3rd album called Friend. Vocals will include Fukami Chie, 片羽ゆず (Kataha Yuzu), 春海ちかげ (Haruumi Chikage) and others.

Polyphonic Branch's latest will be a vocal mini album named Re:Birth, in the same vein as their C77 release, Re:collection. Vocalists will include kikuyo, Chata, yanagi yagi, リツカ (Ritsuka), and ルシュカ.

There is an interesting and relatively new circle named Cocon that caught my attention. The circle consists of vocalists 柚宇 (Yuu) and 千琥 (Chiko), illustrator 齋藤信乃 (Saitou Shino), and violinist 西宮 (Nishinomiya) They will be releasing two albums, Zephyros, which has a faintly ethnic blend, and ココグースvol,1 (Cocogoose vol. 1), a dark fairy tale-like concoction.

劇団フォレスト (Gakyua Forest), who released their first album Yume Kowashi Kitan at M3-24, will be releasing their second CD titled また会う日まで、サヨナラ (Mata au hi made, Sayonara), a Japanese-style music CD.

Studio Kurage released their first album 真夜中のピアニッシモ (Mayonaka no Pianissimo) at M3-24, and they have returned with their second CD called ぼくたちの変拍子 (Boku-tachi no Henhyoushi). Vocalists will include Chata, foolen, 緑坂亜綾 (Midorizaka Aaya), 南条あきら (Nanjo Akira), and Nina Branch.

M3-25 News Part 3

Alieson has posted information about their 10th Episode Album, coinciding with their 3rd anniversary, on their website. The album will be titled "Psalmi" 「BORDER LINE~閉鎖病棟監禁秘記~」 (Border line ~Heisa Byoutou Kankin Hiki~). As implied by the title, the story will center around a girl who is imprisoned in a white-coloured room. The page for the album, as well as track preview, is up on Alieson's website.

M3-25 News Part 2

More detail has surfaced concerning one of Hatsuki Yura's upcoming release, i.e. the classic gothic vampire project I've mentioned earlier. Yura will be collaborating with 趣味工房にんじんわいん's Ara on this project, which will be titled Garnet Bride.

Ayutrica has released information about their 4th single, titled 黒曜石の歌 - Das Obsidianenlied -. This single will serve as a preview to their 3rd album, scheduled to be released some time in 2010. It will contain 2 tracks.

Fairial will be releasing a album titled Lucce e Iombra. WAVE's Morrigan will be responsible for the composition, and main vocalists will include Mitose Noriko, Fritillaria, and Hortensia. The chorus section will include K. Juno, Annabel, Katakiri Rekka, Cauliflower, Chata, and Misawa Aki.

Fairial has also posted a little April Fool joke called The Expert Idol. A fake opening theme for this "game" is available for download on the website, with Morrigan responsible for music, Fritillaria providing the vocal, and Chata as chorus.

In keeping with their recent tradition, Rokugen Alice has announced their upcoming project will be called Madam Violet, the title of which comes from one of the songs in their M3-23 album, Omen of Seven.

M3-25 News Part 1 + Shikata Akiko

M3-25 is a month away, and several circles have announced what their latest projects will be.

Asriel has announced in their blog that they are working on a new album titled 汝を照らす朧のアリア.

Hatsuki Yura will be releasing two new works at M3-25. One will be a collaboration with Tsukiko on a "Respect Album" for the manga series 聖痕のクェイサー (Seikon no Qwaser), which has been adapted into an anime series earlier this year. Yura's second project will be a classical gothic project with vampires as the theme. More details will be available later.
